Isabella Swan and Edward Cullen spoke those words to each other on the last page of the novel Twilight ( New York Times # 1 Best Seller by Stephenie Meyer). Bella and Edward are captivating star-crossed lovers that make our hearts skip a beat with dizzying romance and vows of eternal love.

Perhaps that is why director Catherine Hardwicke (Thirteen, Lords of Dogtown) chose The View Point Inn as the eternal movie back drop for Bella and Edward to declare their unconditional and irrevocable love for one another.

This is the magical place where heaven and earth meet and time stands still for lovers of all ages. This is where Stephenie Meyer and Catherine Hardwicke opened the pages of Twilight and released Bella and Edward to breathe and give voice to their eternal love for one another. This is the place where Bella and Edward’s love will live on film and in our hearts – forever.

The View Point Inn has always been a magical setting for romance, charm and elegance. Couples from all over the world come to pledge their love and celebrate at our historic inn. Any celebration has forever found the perfect home at The View Point Inn since 1924.

Requests have been pouring in from Twilight fans to make The View Point Inn a permanent home for Twilight related events. We’ve been asking fans what kind of Twilight events the inn should offer. Ideas keep coming in and we welcome them all. Some of the already scheduled events can be found on our upcoming events page.

The View Point Inn has always been a destination place for celebration for any occasion. Feel free to simply make reservations for your very own Twilight lunch, dinner, Sunday Brunch and overnight lodging whenever it’s convenient for you. (Because the inn may be closed to the public for special private events, we strongly suggest calling ahead for reservations.)

We are deeply honored and extremely excited to be a part of Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight family and a magical place on heaven and earth where Isabella Swan and Edward Cullen will live and love– forever.

Twilight fans can single handedly preserve Bella & Edward's special place and help save The View Point Inn!

The inn is desperately in need of a new roof and chimney. Just 1,000 fans buying one brick will help place a new roof and chimney on The View Point Inn. There’s a lot more preservation work that needs to be done around the inn to ensure it will be around for generations of Twilight fans to come. Please help Geoff Thompson fulfill his dream and help Bella & Edward’s special place remain, like their love…. “Forever”.

There are two price point for Bricks in the Walk of Fame. To have a randomly placed brick the cost is $100. If you would like your brick placed in a spot that touches one of our character bricks, the cost is $150.

Twilight Events at The View Point Inn

Twilight Prom – June 20th, 2009 5pm to 10pm
Come to The View Point Inn and celebrate the coming of summer. For one night only we will be hosting a Twilight Prom. On June 20th, 2009 from 5 pm to 10 pm come to the actual filming location of the movie Twilight. Come and Dance where Bella and Edward danced. The View Point Inn is the filming location for the prom scene and the end of the movie Twilight. Sets from the movie will be recreated from the actual props left from the filming. Each ticket includes admission to the prom, food, non-alcoholic beverages, and a surprise gift. Your ticket also includes an entry into our raffle for prizes. There will be Monte Carlo games to play for additional entries into the raffle. The ground and halls of the Inn will be available for your enjoyment. Cost is $65 per person. Spaces are limited. A Twilight Slumber Party Event – You plan the day and number of people who will attend
You and your guests will arrive at 4pm on the day of your party. You and your guests will stay in the actual rooms where the end of the movie and the prom scenes take place. For dinner your party will dine on the exclusive Twilight Menu with such items as Bella Ravioli and the Eternal Love Cake. This is the best gig of all for a Twilight Fan. Each package includes an overnight stay in one of our Wi-Fi accessible rooms or bring your sleeping bag and stay in the dining room, a Twilight inspired meal and breakfast the next morning. You will also receive a personalized brick to be placed randomly in the Twilight Walk of Fame, and a Twilight | View Point Inn T-Shirt. Up to 30 overnight guests per party. $175 per person. Twilight Film Location Tours – Scheduled by Reservation Only
All tours will include ground transportation, a tour guide, and photo opportunities with tours of 17 filming locations in and around the Portland Area. You have the option to choose a full tour or one of two half tours covering either the north or south leg of the tour. The tour will begin at The View Point Inn at 10:00 am. You will be able to enjoy a tour of the Inn and filming locations on site at the Inn. If you choose an option including meals, lunch from our Twilight menu is served at 11:00. The tour will depart between 11:00 am 12:00 and lasts approximately 6 hours. Upon returning to the Inn, you will be able to enjoy dinner from our Twilight menu, including the Eternal Love cake. Overnight lodging options are available for up to 8 guests. The half tour without meals is $99 per person, minimum of two people. The full tour without meals is $150 per person, minimum two people. The full tour with lunch and dinner is $250 per person. The full tour with meals and lodging is $350 per person for the first person, and $250 per person for each additional person.
